ANNOUNCEMENTS

Hello again!   August 28th

Note that this website is free and all lincoln 62 graduates are registered. You need a password set-up to establish a profile and if you have forgotten your pw you can reset it  or contact us and we will give you a temporary pw to access more than the main page.

After a few days to decompress and looking back, Linda Strock and I have received lots of positive responces. Personally, I had a blast. In the end, it was a fantastic team effort.

Financial report:   We started off with some leftover funds and donations from our last reunion ($628.59) in the bank account for our class. These funds are for upkeep and maintenance fees paid to ClassCreator, the website system we belong to and for future events. We were fortunate that Linda Strock reserved the room and food early before prices went up. Event prices will never be that low again. I had transferred $628.59 into our Lincoln account (from our last reunion) and we now have $707.04. So we gained a little. I know this seems like a large sum yet we think it will be helpful for those who wish to work on future events. Reservation fees are needed up-front. We are due to pay a fee to ClassCreator the end of this year and it is advisable to pay for three years in advance. The website is our world-wide meeting place holding us together.

We have pictures taken by Steve Cottle that we will process and put up in the next couple of weeks.

The Zoom techlology worked well and we might consider doing an organized zoom gathering as a class or smaller groups....up for discussion.

We have been kicking around the idea of an 80th B-Day celebration in two years 2024. Why wait 5 years?

Steve Shelton,Website Co-Administrator.

Update your profiles on this website if there are changes.

Please also access the all-class webpage which is your major link to alumni from any class ever:   lincolnhighlynx.org

Access info:

If this is your first visit and you are a member of our graduating class, you are already included on our register. Navigate to the log in, confirm with us who you are, add a password and you will have all the privileges. If you were a former teacher or staff-member please contact us through this site and we can add you in.

For non-'62 graduates who wish to contact one of us you can use the contact us button and an administrator can forward the information to a member.  You will not be able to do so on you own because our information is secure and only for those who have a password. There are further security measures to protect our classmembers information.

CONTACTING CLASSMATES

A classmate mentioned that they wanted to contact another classmate but they weren't sure how to do that.  You can contact any other classmate who has registered at the website by selecting the "Classmate Profiles" link on the upper left of the Home Page, then select the name of the person in the listing on the page which appears.  If you select the person's profile, you can see the details that they have made available and at the bottom of the page is a private message box.  The messages will be sent through the website so you can maintain privacy of your email if you wish.

Once you've made contact with the other classmate,  you can of course exchange private email addresses if you wish.

Helps/Notes:

The profiles on this site are readable only by classmates unless you wish them to be public. On your profile page, you can select an option to keep your information only for 1962 Classmates, all LHS alumni only or go public.  This option is available at any time by using the "Edit Profile" link in the left column, and then selecting "Edit" at the top of your Profile page.

Just a reminder regarding Comments:

We encourage use of this website to reacquaint ourselves with our classmates.  Remember, however, that comments posted to our Classmate Profiles are readable by all classmates.

If you wish to keep a comment just between you and the other classmate, use the Private Comments option.  (Option available just under the Classmates Profile photo.)  If you are including the name of another classmate, be sure that you are not infringing on their privacy.

We are not the main lincoln high school alumni association or ( LLAA, the all-school organization).  Their webpage is :
