Karen Kamp Morris was an Administrative Specialist 2 for the Seattle Police Department. She died peacefully on February 17th, 2007, after a long difficult battle with cancer. She served the Criminal Intelligence Section and the Department for twenty years as a dedicated and loyal employee and treated her friends the same way. At work, she excelled as a guardian of good grammar and steward of sensitive information, and neither rank nor seniority brought relief from her standards. Karen will be missed. The following is Karen's favorite poem:
I expect to pass through this world but once.
Any good, therefore, that I can do Or any kindness that
I can show to any fellow creature
Let me do it now
Let me not defer or neglect it
For I shall not pass this way again.
