Diane passed away due to complications from congestive heart failure on July 27, 2011 at the age of 66. She was born October 17, 1944 in Helena, MT to parents Richard and Eileen Gibson and moved to Seattle at age 4. She graduated from Lincoln High School (Seattle) in 1962 and the UW in 1966 with degrees in Political Science and Elementary Education. She taught school for one year in Portland and married Theron Bone, a Naval Officer, in June 1967, After 12 years following military assignments, Diane, her husband and family settles in Renton, WA. In the 1980's she was very active in her church's youth education programs, She worked as an Instructional Assisitant at Sequoia Jr. High in Kent for 20 years and retired in 2006. Diane loved gardening, reading, crafting, beach walks and the ballet, but most of she loved being with her grandchildren. She was a giving person, always putting others before herself and will be greatly missed by her familyand friends. She is survived by her husband Theron Bone, son Brian Bone, daughters Bridget Bone and Betsy Kirichenko, grandson Ashton Kirichenko, granddaughter Hailer Kirichenko, sister Gail O'Connor and brother Chris Gibson. Memorial service was held Thursday August 4th at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church in Renton.
