Charlene “Char” Anne Parks Sligar was born on March 15, 1944, and passed on July 13, 2022. I spoke with her best friend, Darlene Amberg Hooper ’62. She told me that she had passed from metastatic breast cancer. She worked as an independent contractor for Microsoft, returned to school, and graduated from the U of W. She continued working for Microsoft until she retired. She has a son Kyle and a daughter Dana. She has two granddaughters named Mattie and Juliette.
While at Lincoln Char was in the Girl’s club, Homecoming secretary, Activity cards, Pep club, and senior week special events chair.
