Gordon Griffin Evans, 70, passed away 1/14/15 in Bellevue, WA. from complications due to heart failure. He departed surrounded by the love of his family. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Victoria Evans (Mast) and daughter, Deborah Evans Cesarini ( husband Matthew Cesarini) and son, Bryan Evans ( wife Christal Gacka Evans) and the three adoring grandchildren, McKenna Barker, Marianna Cesarini and Kenneth Evans. He is also survived by his sister, Janice Evans O'Halloran, sisiter-in-law, Terri Mast, sister-in-law Kathy Mast Jones and several nieces and nephews. Gordon graduated from Lincoln High, Seattle 1962. He joined the Navy and served his country for 4 years. He worked at the Seattle Times for 28 years. Gordon will be greatly missed for his kindness, love and wonderful sense of humor. Celebration of life service was held at Washelli Funeral Home 11111 Aurora Ave N. Seattle, WA.
